I went to college not because I wanted to but because I thought I had to.

Many of my high school friends gave up on college and turned out just fine. In fact, I would say some are doing way better than me considering that my closest friends moved out of their parent's house and have full-time jobs.

Some have kids others have jobs and some are even in jail but most of them may have missed out on the unconventional things that you learn at college. I know you’re probably thinking I’m about to list things like how many shots of Titos you can fit into a water bottle.

Well, maybe that’s important to note if you’re at a school-funded festival but maybe not as trivial as other things.

1. College Life Isn’t Real

If anyone has told you that college friends are for life, hate to break it to you, but they are not.

At least not if you’re expecting to keep that big group of friends you made. I’m sure there are way more social people than me who love throwing parties and inviting everyone they know just for kicks but, realistically, I only talk to one or two friends from college consistently.
