It’s Time To Help Our Own Communities
In the not-so-eloquent words of Kimberly Kardashian, it’s time to “Get off your fucking ass up and work.”
She used it in a very different context but it works just as well here because she was right.
We do need to work.
We need to get back to working within our communities.
I think Gen Z grew up fostering rage for the systems of oppression that exist to oppress women, LGBTQ+, any religion outside of Christianity, and basically, anyone that isn’t a straight rich white man.
I hate to get political and I think that it’s sad because politics shouldn’t be this big stressful thing.
When did politics become a business?
When did politics become a way for corporations and a way for the ultra-rich to control the masses?
The government is supposed to work for us.
Especially in the U.S.
At least that’s the B.S they sold to us in school.
We are supposed to be the land of the free but how can we be free when we stole land from Native Americans and continue to allow the government to debate the rights human beings should and shouldn’t have?
