What do other writers do when life gets in the way?

I struggle with my mental health and I struggle even more with trying to figure out how open I want to be about it with people around me.

There is a lot of stigma surrounding mental health and even though we have come a long way when it comes to accepting discussions of mental health there are still those out there who are rude or don’t consider it valid excuses.

I didn’t plan to ghost this platform for a month and some weeks but depression kicked in and the most I could do is robotically travel back and forth from home to work every day.

Everything Becomes a Chore

Those who struggle with their mental health can probably relate when I say that everyday things like basic hygiene, feeding yourself, and just going through the day can become a giant chore.

Your bed becomes simultaneously the most comfortable and uncomfortable thing in the world.

I figured I would write about how I am feeling but even writing is difficult because I don’t feel like anything I write is worth posting. Of course, I am lucky enough to be surrounded by a great support system and I’ve slowly been digging myself out of…
