You Should Read & Write All 2022

I haven’t always loved to read books and that’s funny coming from me who decided to major in English Literature at University.

I started to love reading in my teen years then I stopped.

I didn’t have any particular reason to stop reading but if I was forced to answer why I stopped reading, it was because nothing compared to the Twilight Saga back in 2012.

I was heavily into reading about vampires and werewolves back then and most of the reading I did was on Wattpad.

I didn’t read any physical books and that's a mistake I am hoping to correct this year.

Reading Physical Books

There is something about sitting in a cozy spot with a good book flipping through pages that just can’t be beaten.

I know there are e-books and Kindles that allow people faster and easier access to books but nothing compares to the real thing. My biggest fear is that physical copies of books will stop being made.

When you read a physical book you are able to disconnect from people’s opinions and comments. You can form your own opinions and imagine the world based on what you’ve read.
