As someone who suffered from a bit of social anxiety and really enjoys being at home, trust me I get it.

Dating yourself can be difficult I mean how many of us can honestly say we go out at least once a month to take ourselves out to dinner alone.

Imagine sitting at a solo table waiting for your order and trying not to scroll through your phone to block out the awkwardness of being alone while everyone around you socializes.

I hate to say it but we will never return to those romantic gesture days when we are so plugged into our phones and refuse to be alone with our thoughts.

How can a handsome stranger offer you a drink if you came with a pack of girls to a bar and you refuse to leave any of their sides?

Long gone are the days of sitting around looking romantic and interesting eating alone at a restaurant.

We are so plugged into our phones that we have forgotten what it’s like to genuinely be alone and enjoy it.
